In order to register a business corporation in the Corporate Registry application you will need to know your:
Reserved Corporate Name (Reservation Number)
No name reservation is required if you incorporate as a numbered company.
Articles
This includes nature of business, share details, authorized number of directors, restrictions, and/or articles of attachment.
Registered Office
Physical address (location of registered office which must be a Saskatchewan address).
The registered office physical address cannot be a P.O. box number.
Mailing address.
Email address.
Director/Officer Information
Includes first/middle/last names, and physical, and mailing address of directors/officers. An email address may also be provided, but is not required.
The role, director and/or officer must be identified.
For officers, the office held must be provided.
Power of Attorney
Only required when there is not a director or officer with a physical address in Saskatchewan, but a Power of Attorney may be optionally appointed if there is a Saskatchewan-resident director or officer.
Incorporator
May either be an individual or an entity (business).
Fees
Fees applicable to your incorporation will be displayed under the fees tab in the Corporate Registry application.
During the incorporation process, you may choose to register with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Finance. You may also request the Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) contact you with information about registering with WCB.
Please note: The Corporate Registry cannot provide advice about your incorporation. You should contact a lawyer to discuss your legal concerns.
Under the heading ‘reserve a name or create a company' click on ‘business corporations’ and select the ‘incorporate’ option.
Enter in your corporate name reservation number. (This number can be found in your 'my activity' page). Click ‘continue’.
Complete the application and submit
The summary screen within the application will provide an overview of your registration.
At the conclusion of your registration you will receive a digital certificate validating your incorporation. Please see the digital certificate page to learn more about the new certification.
