All ISC personnel, including ISC’s employees and vendors, shall be bound by this policy. ISC provides ongoing education and training to its employees in the handling of personal information, and requires its vendors to observe the same standards in the manner in which they deal with personal information that they may acquire as part of their business relationship with us.

ISC is subject to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”). This Privacy Policy also strives to incorporate content of the 10 Privacy Principles developed by the Canadian Standards Association Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information, which forms part of PIPEDA.

For further clarification, this policy does not apply to information that is contained in ISC’s public registries, including the address for service of title owners and interest holders. The public registry information is owned by the Government of Saskatchewan and maintained by ISC. Public registry information is a matter of public record according to the applicable legislation, and as such is not subject to The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

ISC may develop separate policies governing the management of personal information: 

• of its employees, Board of Directors and contractors, and
• contained in the public registries of which ISC is a custodian.
