What services does ISC offer?

We provide a number of services related to land titles, personal property and survey plans. As a registered account holder, you can:

• Search for land and mineral titles, including grants
• Search for liens and other legal interests on land and forms of personal property
• Transfer a title or register/discharge an interest on title
• Search for survey plans showing property dimensions
• Apply to have land subdivided or consolidated
• And more

Please Note: You can see some search results for free but some fees are applicable for full title details, transferring titles and registering interests.

What account type is right for me?

We have two account types to choose from: temporary and permanent. Review the features for each account option that are detailed below and choose the one that best fits your needs.

Temporary Account The temporary account is a quick and convenient way to access most of our products and services. If you are a first-time user or do not access the site very often, this account is right for you. Signing up online is fast and easy to do. All you will need is an email address. I want a Temporary Account! With a temporary account, you can: Search for titles, interests, liens, plans, grants, judgments and more  Submit land title registrations (transfers of ownership and interests) – though you cannot register liens against personal property online with this account type. Add money to your account using our secure online system allowing you to ‘pay as you go’ for products and services with fees. Top-up your account balance at any time. Receive a monthly account statement sent to you through Canada Post, by fax, or by email whenever you still have funds available in your account.  NOTE: As an ISC green initiative - effective January 29, 2012, account statements for new accounts will be delivered to the email address provided during sign up.

Permanent Accounts  Permanent accounts are suited to high volume users of the site. ISC requires a separate account registration process for its Land Titles/Survey Plans and Personal Property services. Both permanent account types can be registered together or separately. I want a Land Titles and Survey Plans Permanent Account! With a Land Titles and Survey Plans business account, you can: Search for titles, interests, liens, plans, grants, judgments and more  Submit land title registrations (transfers of ownership and interests) – though you cannot register liens against personal property with this account type. Submit survey plans Pay for any service that has fees using funds you deposit into your account Apply for credit to get the products and services you want, without having to worry about how much you currently have on deposit each time you go to make a transaction. Receive monthly statement of the charges you accrue on credit. Have your monthly statement sent to you through Canada Post, by fax, or by email. I want a Personal Property Permanent Account! With a Personal Property permanent account, you can: Search liens and judgments registered against personal property. Register movable types of property – like furniture, vehicles and jewellery Register legal interests, like liens and writs, on forms of personal property Pay for any service that has fees using funds you deposit into your account Apply for credit to get the products and services you want, without having to worry about how much you currently have on deposit each time you go to make a transaction. Receive monthly statement of the charges you accrue on credit. Have your monthly statement sent to you through Canada Post, by fax, or by email.
