ISC - New VIN Check Feature Coming to the Saskatchewan Personal Property Registry

Saskatchewan Personal Property Registry customers will soon have easy access to Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) details before searching for a lien or registering serial property.

 This new VIN Check feature will allow customers to verify the Make, Model and Year of the following motor vehicle serial types:

• Passenger cars
• Light trucks (payload of around 1,500 to 3,000 pounds)
• Heavy trucks (payload over 6,500 pounds)
• Commercial trailers
• Motorcycles

Available from October 2, 2022 in the Personal Property Registry Search and the Registration applications, this free, optional feature will provide additional peace of mind and confidence by confirming the vehicle details before the customer searches for liens or registers serial property.
